Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my Manchester Marathon!My name is Ruben and I myself have juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) which has highly impacted my life since I was diagnosed with it in 2023. I have come a long way and went through much pain since discovering I have JIA and I believe more people need to know how common arthritis is for young people which is why I am supporting Arthritis UK for the 2027 Manchester Marathon.
Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family, move free from pain and live independently. That’s why Arthritis UK funds life-changing research, supports those affected and campaigns for change. Arthritis UK won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.
