Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my London Marathon! Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family, move free from pain and live independently. But arthritis is still poorly understood and far too little is done. That’s why Arthritis UK funds life-changing research, supports those affected and campaigns for change. Arthritis UK won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.

Tuesday 21st Jul Turning 40… it must mean one thing… time for a midlife crisis!
On the 25th April 2027, 26.2 miles of crisis will unfold in the form of the LONDON MARATHON
I'll be taking on this huge challenge while raising vital funds for Arthritis UK.
I've worked in healthcare for nearly 20 years, specifically in orthopaedics, and I've seen first-hand the difference treatment can make. I've also seen the daily impact arthritis has on people's lives—pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, and the effect it has on independence and quality of life.
Arthritis affects millions of people across the UK. Arthritis UK funds groundbreaking research, provides trusted advice and support, and campaigns for better care, helping more people live fuller, more active lives.
I've set myself the ambitious goal of raising £3,000 for this incredible charity. Running 26.2 miles will be tough... but raising the money might be the bigger challenge!
