Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my London Marathon! Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family, move free from pain and live independently. But arthritis is still poorly understood and far too little is done. That’s why Arthritis UK funds life-changing research, supports those affected and campaigns for change. Arthritis UK won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.

I’m Running the London Marathon for Arthritis UK!
Thursday 30th JulI’m really excited (and slightly terrified!) to share that I’ve got a place in the London Marathon, and I’ll be running it for Arthritis UK.
This is a challenge that is very personal to me. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, which has affected my knees, elbows, jaw and chest. Like many people with arthritis, it hasn’t always been obvious to others what was going on, and learning to manage the condition has been a journey.
Thankfully, my arthritis is now well controlled and I’m pain free, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for. Being able to take on a challenge like the London Marathon is something I don’t take for granted, and I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness and support others living with arthritis.
