Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my London Marathon!This journey is hugely personal to me. I’ve lived with psoriatic arthritis since I was 26. It started with a significant loss of movement in my right elbow, before spreading to both elbows and my knees.
At one point, walking was a real struggle. I couldn’t play properly with my then two year old son, take my dog out, or do many of the everyday things that people in their twenties and thirties often take for granted.
Starting biologic medication was life-changing for me. Without it, I wouldn’t be in the position I am today - training to run a marathon!
That’s why I’m so proud to be taking on the London Marathon for Arthritis UK. Any donation, big or small, will mean so much and help support people affected by arthritis. Thank you for supporting me on this journey! ❤️🏃♀️

I’m Running the London Marathon for Arthritis UK!
Thursday 30th JulI’m really excited (and slightly terrified!) to share that I’ve got a place in the London Marathon, and I’ll be running it for Arthritis UK.
This is a challenge that is very personal to me. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, which has affected my knees, elbows, jaw and chest. Like many people with arthritis, it hasn’t always been obvious to others what was going on, and learning to manage the condition has been a journey.
Thankfully, my arthritis is now well controlled and I’m pain free, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for. Being able to take on a challenge like the London Marathon is something I don’t take for granted, and I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness and support others living with arthritis.
