To make things a bit more complicated, I originally got a spot for 2026 but had to defer. An injury last December led to some medical tests, and I found out I have arthritis in my ankle. It completely threw my plans up in the air, and I’ve had to completely adapt how I train. But I am determined—I will get around that 26.2-mile course even if I have to drag myself across the finish line.
Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis. It’s a condition that affects every single part of daily life—working, studying, moving free from pain, and just keeping independence. Yet, it's still so poorly understood and far too little is done about it.
That’s why I’m raising money for Arthritis UK. They fund life-changing research, support those living with the condition, and campaign tirelessly for real change and a future cure.
Every donation, no matter how small, keeps me moving and supports a cause that has suddenly become incredibly personal to me. Thank you so much for your support!
