Great North Run 2026 🏃♀️💙
So... I've signed up for the Great North Run! 🏃♀️
Although 30 isn't quite here yet, I've started working my way through a little before 30 bucket list and signing up to a race was one of them.
One of the things that inspired me to enter this race was my partner's grandad, who ran the Great North Run in 1987. Taking on the same iconic race feels pretty special.
Me and running have always had a bit of an on and off relationship. I'll be obsessed with it for months, then somehow fall out of habit, only to remember how much I enjoy it when I lace up my trainers again. Signing up for the Great North Run felt like the perfect way to give myself a challenge, stay motivated and do something that pushes me out of my comfort zone.
I'm also raising money for Arthritis UK, so if you're able to donate, I'd be incredibly grateful.
