We’re raising money for Arthritis UK, a charity which funds life-changing research, supports those affected by arthritis and campaigns for change.
Arthritis UK is a cause close to our hearts. In 2021 Jayne was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the joints and other body tissues. At its worst, everyday tasks like walking and writing became very difficult due to severe joint pain. Jayne’s been fortunate to find medication that works well for her allowing her to keep running and take on the challenge of London Marathon!
You might never have heard of rheumatoid arthritis before, but chances are you know someone affected by arthritis. More than 10 million people in the UK live with a form of the condition, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family and move free from pain.
Arthritis is a lifelong condition, with no cure. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help towards funding a future free from Arthritis.
