I’m fundraising because I have seen firsthand the pain and invisible toll that living with Rheumatoid Arthritis brings. It has a significant impact on so many lives—at its worst, causing constant pain and leaving people needing support just to do the everyday things we take for granted, like getting dressed in the morning.
Right now, there is no cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis. But I hope that the work Arthritis UK does will change that soon.
Over 10 million adults, young people, and children in the UK live with arthritis. Yet, it is still poorly understood and far too little is done. That’s why I’m taking on The Great North Run: to support Arthritis UK changing lives through research, campaigning, and vital support services.
