Hey everyone! 👋
I've signed up for the Great North Run 2026 with Arthritis UK. It's really something I've never imagined I'd do since I'm not a runner, nor am I in great shape, however I'm starting from scratch with the goal of raising £500 in honour for my mother.
My mother has faced her arthritis selflessly and has always put other people in front of herself. But recently things have got worse and every little thing will benefit her so much. Running this half marathon is my way to give back to not only those who are helping my mother, but those who are suffering with arthritis in general.
Not only am I doing this to raise money for such a good cause, I am also using this journey as a stepping stone to help myself get fitter and in a better shape. I know it's going to be tough, but I am determined that I am going to cross that finish line no matter what the time is.
No matter the size of the donation, or even just the moral support means so much to me, and will go directly to pushing myself further to the cause as-well as helping people with arthritis live better and more comfortable lives.

First 5k! - 2025 Supernova London
Saturday 15th Nov I will be running my first 5k next week at the 2025 Supernova in London!I will be able to get an accurate 5k run time as my starting time, and hope to see improvements as I work on my training throughout the year!
