Hi all. After years of witnessing the buzz at the finish line supporting family members I have decided to run my first ever Great North Run at the age of 55 or should I say attempting. My partner has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since her early twenties and I see on a daily basis the devastating impact this disease causes. Anything i can raise to help support the great work arthritis UK does to help her and everyone suffering will be fantastic. 


Over 10 million people in the UK have arthritis. By taking on the Great North Run and fundraising, we are helping work towards something we all want, a future free from arthritis!
