My fiancé, Elle.
Very early into our relationship Elle was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
This condition means Elle lives with severe pain and mobility issues almost everyday.
Yet despite this, she is still a happy young woman, who is also the most amazing mother to our daughter. Elle manages her arthritis through biologic medication that she is prescribed through hospital and this enables Elle to function and be a ‘normal’ young woman, without this medication Elle would be in insufferable pain everyday.
It is thanks to the research and support that Arthritis UK provide that Elle is able to live a life of a none arthritic 30 year old.
Elle makes me proud of her every single day, she doesn’t let this impact her daily life and lives life to the fullest.
That is why this year, I am running for this amazing charity and for my amazing wife to be.
