A charity close to both of our hearts, who continue to help the millions of people diagnosed with arthritis.
Our dynamic duo consists of Faye (the arthritic one) and Carl (her brother in law) and we are so excited to be taking on the 13.1 miles together. It means something different to each of us, so here is why we’re running…
Faye ~ I ran the GNR last year for versus arthritis which was such a huge milestone for me, after years of not even thinking anything like this would have ever been a possibility for me. But after years of different medications, surgery’s and countless appointments, I’m finally on a series of chemotherapy infusions that work for me and has allowed me to participate and raise money for a charity that helps others to find what works for them. I’m so beyond excited and grateful to get to run for the charity again next year, especially with Carl by my side.
Carl ~ Watching my little sister complete the GNR last time around despite all of the hurdles that she has faced was so inspiring that I thought I would be her running mate for next year. I’ve never really been a runner due to my asthma but I’m hoping that I can keep up with Faye until the finish line.
We cannot wait to see you on the other side of the finishing line. Thank you for all the support, we are so proud to be taking this on together!
