I'm fundraising for Arthritis UK!
I'm running the Royal Parks Half on Sunday 11th October 2026 for Arthritis UK!
This is not my first running challenge but I definitely need to brush the cobwebs off the running shoes, and this is a great way to get them back in gear! I will always want to raise money for such an important and personal cause. I appreciate many friends and family have previously donated to this cause after the london marathon but fundraising is still important (even if I've done it all before)!
I previously ran the London marathon for versus arthritis (former name). I want to fundraise for them again. This wonderful charity is very important to myself and my mum. My mum suffers from Still's disease which was diagnosed after she fell life threateningly ill from complications from undiagnosed Still's disease. She now takes various specialist medication which information on all of these are available through Arthritis UK. Support like this makes it easier to understand for us both.
Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family, move free from pain and live independently. But arthritis is still poorly understood and far too little is done. That’s why Arthritis UK funds life-changing research, supports those affected and campaigns for change. Arthritis UK won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.
