I'm fundraising for...
I’ve decided to take on the Brighton Marathon 2027, and it means more to me than just running 26.2 miles.
I’m doing this to raise money for Arthritis UK, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. My dad has lived with arthritis in his knees for over 20 years. He used to run every day and play squash, it was a huge part of his life, but this disease has taken that away from him. Despite multiple knee operations that haven’t worked, he keeps going every single day. He works hard, never complains, and just gets on with it, even though he’s in constant pain.
Recently, things have become even harder, with arthritis now affecting his neck, head, and hands. And now my mum has also been diagnosed. Seeing both of them go through this has made me realise how much this disease impacts people’s lives more than we truly understand.
So I thought, there’s no better time to challenge myself and do something that I can be proud of. This is for them.
Dad, I know you can’t run this with me, so I’m running it for you ❤️
If you’re able to support me, any donation (big or small) would mean the world. Thank you so much for your kindness and support, it really does make a difference.
Thank you xx
