Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my double whammy - I’m taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon on 27th Sept 2026, closely followed by the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11th Oct 2026! I’ve lived with rheumatoid arthritis my whole adult life and I’m doing this because I still can thanks to the stability my medication gives me. 

I’m running for everyone who can’t. I’m running because movement is a gift. I’m running to make a difference. 

Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family, move free from pain and live independently. But arthritis is still poorly understood and far too little is done. That’s why Arthritis UK funds life-changing research, supports those affected and campaigns for change. Arthritis UK won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.
