My Updates
One more and final time… said that before
Monday 3rd Aug This will be my last attempt to run a half marathon having been diagnosed with Arthritis at the age of 7 and really struggling in my late teens early 20s i never thought i would be able to run at all let alone run a half marathon.But with the work Arthritis UK have done and great surgeons who have done 7 operations to rebuild my feet and a hip replacement in Dec 2022. Along with being up on ANTI TNF injections which was a game changer for me.
Yes i still have pain and discomfort but alot more manageable.
So one more half to sign off with in April i might not be as fast as i was before my hip replacement (not that i was that fast) but i am still as determined and doing it
